Now, as they used to say, for something completely different.
Paul Klee (1879-1940, usually pronounced Clay) was a hard working 'natural genius', who experimented in different art styles including Bauhaus (where he taught art), expressionism and surrealism.
Here we have an artwork in his surrealistic illustrative style that has then been 'mineralised' with a Weston image of jade - so the background is Weston, and the illustrative foreground Klee.
We believe that it makes for a beautiful and wholly original image that combines the art of Nature and the art of man, or Klee anyway.
It's also a fantastic scarf (in every sense).
