This beautiful image was taken from a satellite far above the earth, and shows a vortex of swirling ice in the Foxe Basin, Northern Canada.
Perhaps surprisingly, it was taken in late July, but for how much longer will there be ice in high summer, even this far north?
Whatever, for now it makes a wonderfully dramatic and very different scarf that looks fantastic in silk with those rich blues and aquatic turquoise.

Please note this is a 88x 88 cms scarf, offering the best of both worlds between the smaller and large square scarves.
