A one tree forest that's autumnal red, not summer green, but then this is a Klee painting
Paul Klee (1879-1940, usually pronounced Clay) was a hard working 'natural genius', who experimented in different art styles including Bauhaus (where he taught art), expressionism and surrealism.
Here we have an artwork that has then been 'mineralised' with a Weston image - so the background is Weston, and the illustrative foreground Klee.
We believe that it makes for a beautiful and wholly original image that combines the art of Nature and the art of man, or Klee anyway.
