Labradorite is exclusively found on the island of Labrador, Canada, and this is a wonderfully colourful and varied image that is reminiscent of Aurora Borealis skies found in such northern regions.
All the same, there's something very "painterly" about it, isn't there?
And as a clock? Stunning.
It is 10" (25cms) in diameter, but more than makes up for its 'modest' size, by virtue of its visual imapct.
