This beautiful image was taken from a satellite far above the earth, and shows a vortex of swirling ice
in the Foxe Basin, Northern Canada.
Perhaps surprisingly, it was taken in late July, but for how much longer will there be ice in high summer, even this far north?
Whatever, for now it makes a wonderfully dramatic and very different scarf that looks fantastic in silk with those rich blues and aquatic turquoise.
