We never cease to be amazed at what Nature creates, nor amazed at what human technology enables us to see.
This tiny section of jasper - millions of years old - has never been seen before digital microscopes, and we're very grateful we can now see it, enjoy it, and, indeed, wear it.
Somehow it is evocative of many things - oceans, mountains, volcanoes and sunsets to name but a few - yet looks like none of them exactly.
Anyway, in this medium sized silk square it is large enough to be fully appreciated, yet small enough as a scarf to be worn in many places and at many occasions.
