The name delphinium comes from the Greek meaning dolphin, and here we have an image - actually obtained at high resolution from the hard, volcanic rock that is agate - that looks like rolling ocean waves that dolphins would be happy to play in.
On the other hand, they could be the petals of delphinium - commonly called larkspur - that you may well have in your garden.
Whatever, it makes for a wonderful scarf that goes with many other outfits - complementing them, or contrasting with them.
At this size, it is as useful as an outdoor casual scarf as it is as an indoor formal scarf.
And a gift anyone would thank you for.
