This is a satellite image that shows a part of the huge and magnificent Antactica that offers so much more than undistinguished ice and snow as this image suggests.
It is actually mainly on the Lambert Glacier.
We find it a fascinating and gloriously original image, and when digitally printed onto our high quality silk it creates a wonderful scarf, especially in this large square format.
Another example of the coming together of nature, technology and high resolution images to create something original and beautiful that is very Weston.
We only hope satellites will be able to take an image in the same location in a few years time, and have it be the same shape and size. We fear not.
