Lapis Lazuli is the perfect blue stone, and is associated with dignity, serenity and wisdom as well as instinctive creativity.
It is a rare rock formed largely of lazulite, and was used by artists as their primary source of blue pigment.
We have now created a birthstones collection in our increasingly popular - as well as more informal and flexible - oblong shape, although they were originally exclusively available at Liberty in the large square format.
