Heliotrope (Greek for sun, and also known as bloodstone) is the traditional birthstone for March, and signifies nature’s rebirth, love and hope.
Bloodstone is a form of chalcedony most commonly found in India.
We have now created a birthstones collection in our increasingly popular - as well as more informal and flexible - oblong shape, although they were originally exclusively available at Liberty in the large square format.
