One of the many Richard Weston strizzatte images using a technique originated by Rennaisance painters created by squeezing (which is what strizzatte means in Italian) acrylic paints between glass sheets, then scanning them at high resolution, so that what you are seeing is a tiny fraction of paints.
But what a wonderfully beautiful and original 'design' it makes!
And on the hard cover of this journal, it absolutely achieves its best.
