Pre-SS18 Long Silk Scarves
While our reputation has been built around our iconic square scarves, our more informal long (or oblong) scarves are preferred by a rapidly growing number of women.
They are indeed long, nearly 2 metres long as well as generously wide - 198 x 68 cms (78" x 27") - and the fact that they also represent excellent value probably doesn't harm their popularity.
The current season collection of our long silk scarves is for Pre-SS18, and we are delighted to be partnering with arguably the world's leading astrophotographer, Adam Block, to present absolutely stunning images of nebulae digitally printed on silk.
Like Weston, Adam uses the very latest technology to produce high resolution images of nature that are thousands or millions of years old, and look "pure and simple", yet represent massive investments of time and technology.
Nebula is Latin for cloud, and nebulae are "clouds" that can be thousands of light years across - yet weigh little more than a Weston scarf!
Indeed, our Milky Way was once no more than a gas nebula. From it formed stars that make their surroundings glow with these brilliant colours. The dramatic deaths of stars - through supernova explosions - also create nebulae as well as most of the materials and minerals in the universe.
So now you can wear a piece of the universe - thanks to Adam and Weston.
They are offered at the same price as in stores, but with free delivery guaranteed for the next day once they have been dispatched.
