This is Australian Munjina Stone found exclusively in the Chichester range of hills 800 miles north of Perth, and was laid down about 2,700 million years ago originally as mud - yes, mud.

All Munjina Stone has a reddy colour, and a banded structure making it, we think, one of the most beautiful lesser known minerals.

It has certainly proved very popular as a scarf, and will make a fine artwork as well.

Here we have used polarised light to change the red to blue, and thereby making it unique to Weston.

Our paper is Hahnemuhle German Etching 310 gsm archive quality paper - the "gold standard". Our canvas is Fredrix Archival Canvas semi-matt hand varnished.
