Greenland
As with many of these images, it reminds you of something - and nothing - you have seen on this earth. It could be a field of red corn in front of a hill of sunlight green, but, then, when do you actually see something like that?
It is Tiger's Eye, which is often said to be a classic example of a 'pseudomorph', so perhaps this 'morphing' from something to nothing is only to be expected. Almost all Tiger's Eye comes from South Africa or Western Australia, and the image resonated with those landscapes as well. |
