Paesina Canyon
What else is this but a burnished landscape with cliffs and canyon? Actually, it is Paesina - meaning 'landscape' - Stone, and comes from Tuscany.
It was formed as silty limestone during the Cretaceous period when a 3D network of fine cracks llowed groundwater to permeate bringing oxides of various minerals which created the intricate, landscape-like colours and patterns. The actual size of the stone is 7cm. |
